Extended Care

St. Alphonsus Parish School provides Extended Care both before and after school for both the preschool and school-aged child.  Extended care endeavors to provide a loving and secure environment where each child feels safe to explore his/her world and develop healthy relationships.  

Our daily afternoon schedule includes a snack after school, free play time, and supervised homework time.  The children are free to play with what we have available and are allowed to bring toys from home.  However, we do not allow any use of the internet, watching of television or listening to non-Christian radio stations.  We feel it is important that the kids are in a safe environment on many levels.  The only movies we watch are animated or G-rated.

Hours

Before school: 7:00-8:25 am
After school: 3:00-6:00 pm, and 2:15-6:00 pm on Wednesdays.

The Extended Care program operates on the same calendar as St. Alphonsus Parish School.

2010-2011 Rates

Preschool:  $7 per hour
School-aged:  $4.50 per hour or $260 per month, whichever is calculated to be less.
